Positions Available

St Paul’s College is enjoying significant growth in student numbers and a time of exceptionally improved resourcing, including a strong buildings program that delivers extraordinary learning facilities, and great increase in staffing, as replicant in the following positions:

A vital role within our Primary Leadership Team, we are seeking applications from suitable candidates, commencing Term 4 2025 (13 October 2025) to fill a replacement position until the end of the 2026 school year, totaling 5 school terms. This is a full-time position.

The Head of Wellbeing (Primary Years) is a significant leadership position, and has a responsibility for the social, emotional, and pastoral development of all students in Primary Years. There is a teaching component as part of this position.

About You
Applicants will need to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of wellbeing initiatives and responses that meet the needs of staff and students in Primary Years
  • Lead the pastoral, social, emotional and wellbeing development of all students in Primary Years
  • Have an excellent understanding and use of Restorative Practices, Trauma-aware practices and effective strategies to assist students to self-regulate and develop skills of personal responsibility and positive well-being
  • Create a learning environment that is engaging and inclusive of all students, particularly those for whom English is an additional language and those with additional learning, social and/or emotional needs
  • Communicate effectively to build positive partnerships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader community 
  • Be an energetic, positive, dynamic educator who is committed to engaging in professional dialogue and working collaboratively within a flexible learning environment
  • Demonstrate leadership capability across multiple areas of education, as a member of the Primary Leadership Team.

Grade 3 – Curriculum Stream for 5 days per week (6.25 hours per day) / 40 weeks per year

The Opportunity

Are you interested in working in the classroom setting? With multiple positions available, we are seeking applicants who have a passion to assist student learning in the classroom, within small groups, and in a one-on-one capacity starting Term 3 2025 until the end of the 2025 school year.

This position is five (5) days per week, working 6.25hours per day, during term time with limited school holiday work. Reduced days per week will be considered for suitable applicants.

About You

You have a passion for education and student learning.  This position would suit anyone currently studying a teaching degree or have a general passion for ongoing learning.

You will be part of a dynamic and flexible learning environment which supports students with diverse needs and backgrounds. Encouraging students in their personal responsibilities, you will also contribute to the pastoral care of student lives.

You possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills in developing position and collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader community.

The Opportunity
We are excited to offer a permanent role as Community Support Officer commencing ASAP.  You will be part of the Catholic Identity Team, building connections with students and families in need of additional support.

About You
Are you an advocate for social justice and service, with a passion for helping students and families in need? Are you passionate about engaging members of our catholic school to deliver a welcoming and inclusive community.

This position is an 18 hour per week commitment during term time with some school holiday work required.  Days of work are negotiable.

Are you a dynamic and collaborative educator who can inspire students in both classroom and ensemble settings while contributing to the ongoing growth of the school's Music program?

The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time permanent Secondary Music Teacher, commencing Term 3 2025 (21 July 2025). Part-time arrangements will be considered for suitable applicants. 

As a member of the Music faculty, you will contribute to a dynamic and evolving curriculum that fosters performance skills and collaborative music-making. Working across Years 7-12 and as part of the college’s growing co-curricular music program, this position also includes opportunities for suitable applicants to teach SACE Stage 1 and 2.

You will need

  • Current Teacher Registration in South Australia
  • Strong understanding of a Kodály-inspired approach to pedagogy and its application in the classroom
  • Experience in fostering musical literacy and aural skills development
  • A background in strings is highly desirable, as ensemble offerings and instrumental opportunities is continuing to expand for students
  • A passion and dedication to support diversity, including diverse learning, culture and faith backgrounds
  • Actively support and contribute to the college as a Catholic College in the Edmund Rice Tradition
  • An ability to create an engaging learning environment that is inclusive of all students, particularly those for whom English is an additional language and those with additional needs
