Music Program
At St Paul’s College, our growing music program offers extensive opportunities for students to develop their musical talents and love of music. From classroom learning to co-curricular opportunities, there’s something for all students and abilities to enjoy.

Classroom Music Opportunities
Students receive specialist teaching in music from Reception to Year 8. From Year 9 onwards it is offered as an elective.
Primary students learn from a specialist music teacher to develop their skills and experience a variety of instruments, such as drumming on buckets, playing the recorder and strumming ukuleles. Students may also take private instrumental music lessons with credentialed tutors.
Year 7 Instrumental Program: All Year 7 students learn a brass or woodwind instrument as part of their music classes.
Year 5 & 6 Catholic Schools Music Festival Choir: Students can join this prestigious choir and perform at the annual festival.
Co-Curricular Ensembles
Our students can participate in a wide range of bands and ensembles, including:
- Vocal Ensemble
