Sacrament of Reconciliation Mass – St Pius X Catholic Church
Our senior musicians performed beautifully at the Sacrament of Reconciliation Mass, offering a moving and reflective musical contribution to this important occasion. We are incredibly grateful for their talents, professionalism, and their generous willingness to share their gifts with the community beyond regular school hours. Their presence added a meaningful and reverent atmosphere to the celebration.
Wrap up - Primary Years Assembly
This week's Primary School Music Assembly was a joyful celebration of music and teamwork. Every student shone, whether performing, singing, announcing, or helping behind the scenes. A huge thank you to our amazing Primary Years staff and supportive families for making this special event possible. A huge shout out to Mrs Crisp for coordinating and directing the event. What a wonderful way to share our musical journey!
Catholic School’s Music Festival update
Our CSMF Choir continues to rehearse in preparation for the Festival at the Adelaide Convention Centre in September. Last Monday, they spent the morning at St Pius X Primary School, rehearsing with over 120 students from neighbouring schools. They also recently performed beautifully at the Primary Music Assembly, as pictured here. We look forward to seeing them take the stage in September.

On June 25, last Wednesday, we had the primary music concert. I was playing the item che che koolay. I was nervous and excited because I had a solo part playing the whole song by myself on glockenspiel. At the end, I was proud of myself and I had a good time. I am also in the choir, so I performed three short songs. In the end, this event was really fun and enjoyable. - Sophie Year 6
The music assembly was very nice and cool 10/10 I played the marimba for Mr Costanzo's class, I did D and A on the first beat of first four beats. The song we played was Che Che Koolay. I had a lot of fun. I enjoyed " I wanna CCC " the most out of any songs. - Ryder Year 6
On Wednesday Week 9, we had a brilliant music assembly that I’ll never forget! It was organised by our amazing music teacher, Mrs Crisp, and it was all about bucket drumming – something we’ve been learning in our music lessons this term. I felt proud of myself and my classmates. It was one of the best assemblies we’ve ever had, and I’ll always remember it. Bucket drumming was noisy, creative, and a lot of fun – and thanks to Mrs Crisp, we were able to turn simple buckets into a brilliant performance! - Shaurya Year 6
Last Wednesday we had a Primary Music Assembly, my personal review on this assembly is pretty high as bucket drumming can be entertaining for those watching and yourself even though the song was very simple and I enjoy challenges. Overall the choir, band and Bate Bate Chocolate were my favourite performances everyone in those performances performed amazingly - Georgina Year 5
