Trade Pathways

We pride ourselves on providing vocational education and training that is well regarded by employers and industry more broadly. Students receive quality training that prepares them for work in their preferred trade.

Past and present students of the Grand Junction Trade Training Centre have been and continue to be successful in gaining apprenticeships in their chosen field.

We regularly get contacted by employers who are looking to employ an apprentice and have been able to successfully support students in launching their trade career.

In 2021 we had 17 students take up an apprenticeship in either the construction, electro-technology or automotive industries. These included apprenticeships direct with employers or via various Group Training Schemes who are provided the opportunity to present information to students on careers in their sectors or on specific apprenticeship opportunities.
