As a Catholic school, in the tradition of Edmund Rice, Religious Education is an integral part of the curriculum our students study from Reception to Year 12.

Students regularly pray, reflect, engage with and interpret the Catholic tradition. They participate in daily prayer, liturgical celebrations and a range of social justice activities.

Each day begins and ends with class prayer. Each week the school community gathers together for prayer at assembly.

The school supports families in the preparation for Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. Class Liturgies are held with the Dernancourt Parish Priest attending and leading. All family members are invited to attend.

Our school also combines with the Dernancourt Parish each year for a special Mass to celebrate the life of Edmund Rice, where the children lead the Mass and extended family are invited to attend.

Whole school masses are celebrated at the opening and conclusion of each school year and for special occasions.
