Basketball Partnership

Since the commencement of our partnership with the Adelaide 36ers at the start of 2024, the High-Performance Basketball Program at St Paul’s College has been thriving. Students across all year levels are benefiting from the expertise of 36ers coaches, who are assisting them in developing their skills, game understanding, and strength and conditioning.

The impact of this training is already evident. Our 8/9 boys basketball team remains undefeated as they head into Term 3, positioning themselves strongly to reach the semi-finals in the Saturday morning school competition. Meanwhile, our 7/8 boys team made it to the State Championship final 8 tournament! 

Looking ahead, Term 3 promises even more exciting basketball opportunities. We will host a 36ers basketball tournament day, competing against three other 36ers-affiliated schools in the state. Additionally, students will have the chance to participate in a two-day experience, simulating the life of a professional basketball player and undergoing tests similar to those used in the NBA and WNBA combined.

Our community is thrilled with the progress and opportunities this program has brought. We are proud to be part of the 36ers family and look forward to seeing our students continue to excel both on and off the court.
