Dear Families and Friends of St Paul's,
On behalf of St Paul's College I would like to sincerely thank you all for your participation in the recent Co-education Community Consultation Survey. Your willingness to become involved in this discussion is greatly appreciated and valued.
As you may or may not be aware we sent the survey to our staff, all our students (from Year 5 to 12,) current parents, prospective parents, old scholars and the general community (via our Facebook / Website links). As you will see on the infographic over 1,100 people responded, which is terrific.
We have closed off the surveys now in order to process all of the data as well as all the individual comments that were received and there were many!
An issue such as co-education is a particularly significant one for St Paul's and it has generated a great deal of interest and emotion.
A discussion and decision such as this would never be taken lightly and only be considered on the grounds of what is in the best interest of the College, our students and their families, and the broader Catholic community of Adelaide.
Attached is an infographic we have put together for us to distribute to all the groups mentioned above as well.
As you will see there has been overwhelming support for the idea of us becoming a co-ed school.
While this decision is currently in the hands of SACCS and EREA we look forward to keeping you informed as discussion progresses.
Once again our sincere thanks.
