Class of 2017

Nemad Nowrozi Dux of 2017

Nemad Nowrozi's ATAR of 96.25 saw him awarded Dux of 2017 and a place at Flinders University to study a Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours). He achieved A grades for his Research Project and studies in English, Religion and Mathematical Methods and A- grades for his studies in Business and Enterprise and Specialist Mathematics. Nemad, who joined his family in Australia in 2006 after his father left their homeland of Afghanistan with the intention of giving his family a better life, has high hopes for his future. He says, "Given that I have been a part of two very different countries, and ways of life, I wish one day that I can leave the world a better place than I had found it in and I hope to do this by pursuing entrepreneurial and philanthropic endeavours". Nemad takes his place as one of the many outstanding students to graduate from St Paul's College.

Shamsullah Haidari

Shamsullah achieved an ATAR of 95.60 and A grades in Religion Studies and Business and Enterprise, and A- grades in Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics and Physics. His achievements have seen him awarded Proxime Accessit of 2017 and a place at Adelaide University to study a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Electrical and Electronic).

Brodie Carroll

Brodie's ATAR of 94.50 has earned him a place at the University of South Australia to study a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). He achieved A grades in General Mathematics and Physical Education and A- grades in Biology, English and Religious Studies.

Gordon Tang

Gordon's ATAR of 92.95 has earned him a place at Adelaide University to study a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences (Advanced). He achieved A- grades in Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics and Physics.

Leandro Rodrigues-Stwart

Leandro's ATAR of 92.1 has earned him a place at Australian National University to study a Bachelor of Finance. He achieved an A grade in Business and Enterprise and A- grades in Accounting and Mathematical Methods.

Xanri Badayos

Xanri's ATAR of 91.70 has earned him a place at Adelaide University to study a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Chemical and Pharmaceutical). He achieved A- grades in Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics and Religious Studies.

Param Patel

Param's ATAR of 90.85 has earned him a place at Adelaide University to study a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mechanical and Aerospace). He achieved A- grades in Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics.

Denzil Fernando

Denzil's ATAR of 90.75 has earned him a place at the University of South Australia to study a Bachelor of Law (Honours) Double Degree. He achieved A- grades in Accounting, Business and Enterprise and General Mathematics.

Mitchell Johnstone

Mitchell completed Pre-construction, Certificate II Construction and Certificate III Carpentry, achieved his SACE and gained a school-based apprenticeship in the carpentry trade.

Monir Azimi

Monir completed Certificate II Electro-technology, achieved his SACE and gained an apprenticeship in the electrical trade.

Alex Cullinan

Alex completed Certificate II Electro-technology, achieved his SACE and gained an apprenticeship in the electrical trade.

Matthew Durden

Matthew completed Pre-construction, Certificate II Electro-technology, achieved his SACE and gained an apprenticeship in the electrical trade.

Lachlan Matthews

Lachlan completed Pre-construction and Certificate II Electro-technology, achieved his SACE and gained an apprenticeship in the electrical trade.

Cameron Hughes

Cameron completed Certificate II Automotive and was offered an apprenticeship in the automotive trade.
