From the Head of Student Development
Written on the 2 February 2017 by Mr Steve McCulloch
Welcome to the 2017 school year. A special welcome to those families joining our St Paul's community for the first time. We hope that your journey through this year is one of positive growth and learning.
Our return to school was staged over two days with the goal of assisting those students new to our community. We hope that this has been beneficial for your son. Any feedback is appreciated.
The main goal for the first two days involved students getting to know their Home Group teacher. This forms the backbone of our Pastoral Care and wellbeing framework at St Paul's. Along with this, each student is in a House, led by their Leader of House.
The Leaders of House for 2017 are:
Please take the time to ask which House and Home Group your son is in. Their Home Group teacher is the initial point of contact, followed by the Leaders of House. Please take the opportunity when it presents itself to introduce yourself to these key stakeholders in your son's education.
Our Year 12 Leadership camp was this week and gave our Class of 2017 an opportunity to set some goals for this year. Our next year level camp in our Year 8 Camp. Please note the parent meeting in the Callan Hall at 7pm on Monday February 6. I look forward to meeting you there.
