The Congregation of Christian
Brothers has been a major contributor to and
participant in the Church’s
ministry of Catholic schooling throughout Australia for almost
150 years.
In 2007, Edmund
Rice Education Australia was created by the Christian
Brothers, to govern their schools.
St Paul’s College is now part of
Edmund Rice Education Australia
and governed by its Council and
Board.
Edmund Rice Education Australia continues to assist in the evangelising
mission of the Catholic
Church,
sharing with the Congregation of Christian Brothers a vision for
humanity inspired by the life of Blessed Edmund Rice as he lived
the Gospel of Jesus.
As an Edmund Rice School, St Paul’s is strongly student centred.
Quality relationships are crucial in boys’ education and
St Paul’s gives this the highest priority.
