Badminton-Junior vs St John's Grammar School
Written on the 6 March 2017 by Mr Matthew PorrovecchioAfter the annual exodus of the more senior members of the squad, the St Paul's Junior Badminton squad rose from the ashes like a phoenix to be reborn amidst victory. After travelling to the far-flung reaches of the hills our boys faced off against an undersized team at St John's Grammar. Although Daniel and Matthew went down to their number 1 and 2 players in the singles matches we quickly regained the advantage and managed to defeat the opposition soundly 7 matches to 4. We even loaned one of our players to the opposition to allow a final doubles match to be played! Overall, a sound result and a promising start to the season. See you at Thursday training.
